3m kit deal Express Star Wolves have announced the biggest kit deal in their history after signing up with Swiss clothing brand BURRDA for the next three years. The deal is believed to be worth up to 3million and the kit will be worn for the first time at the final game of the season against Sunderland a week on Sunday. BURRDA, who replace Le Coq Sportif, Wolves' kit suppliers for the last six years, have produced a traditional style of kit in conjunction with the club. The club have struck a first for BURRDA's in UK football but the firm supplies the Kuwait and Qatar national teams as well as an impressive portfolio of international sports clubs, including the British handball teams. Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey said: "BURRDA have a strong international track record across a number of different sports, with plans to further extend their brand into the UK. "We've listened to fans' ideas on designs throughout the year and, together with BURRDA, we've come up with simple, retro style designs, using state of the art technical material. The type and size of this deal reflects the global reach of the Premier League. "BURRDA are a very good fit for our football club, who can also hopefully extend our contacts across Europe and the Middle East. Nike Indoor Soccer Shoes BURRDA's general manager, Charles Diab said: "We've always planned to enter the UK football market and when the chance came with a club steeped in history as Wolves is, we knew the fit was right." In two supporter friendly moves, shirt prices have been frozen for the 10th year running and the chosen design has been based on feedback from fans during the season. It will go on sale on Friday June 18. Shirt prices are 40 adults, 30 for juniors with ladies and infant at 35 and 30 respectively. A new away kit will be revealed at Tuesday's awards dinner at the Telford International Centre. The kits feature 'cool dry' technology that allows the absorption of body moisture into the fabrics, while allowing air to circulate providing comfort and durability. I disgusted by this move. It just a case of selling the production of the shirt to the highest bidder. So we going to grace the premier league in a kit manufactured by a name no one has heard of. We be laughing stock. But obviously money talks. Obviously the board think that fans will buy it whatever, they may have a little shock.

Can you see the players wanting to wear this cheap rubbish? Whats more is this going to look good when attracting new signings? This echos back to the days when we had bukta and scoreline producing the kits. Even Walsall have a better supplier. Cheap Sunday league kit fodder. Oh and the shirt price has been frozen, how about cutting the price. I sorry some people Nike Mercurial Superfly Blue White Black will think this is all superficial but image is important at this level. Can you see Robbie Keane wanting to wear this? I was actually quite excited about finding out who it was going to be, not now. Another masterstroke from the board!? I not convinced! I really struggle to see how these deals with Sunday league style kits actually promotes the club to the young and upcoming fans in the town. Kids want to be seen in Nike, Adidas, Puma and such like and yet we give them Burrda! I know that the big names aren going to pay us 3m to wear their kits and from that perspective it does make sense but surely the club shop would not be able to fill the shelves quick enough if we actually went for a top brand! Over a three year period would the increased sales not negate the initial 3m deal? Stoke are going with Adidas and they are no mugs, surely they see the commercial benefit of attracting a big name. For me it says a lot about the club and the ambition within. The game is all about image and branding these days and we still don seem to have caught on! Just my opinion but I won be purchasing this one!Obviously the the board have taken no notice of fans wishes and sold production of the kit to the highest bidder. Can you imagine young kids wanting to wear a kit made by this lot? Obviously the board have thought get the kits made for peanuts and sell for 40 still the fools will buy it. I don think so. This could have been a bold statement of intent, nike adidas or umbro, puma or le coq again. Instead we be wearing a Sunday leage kit.
