2014 Summer Activity Guide For kids, summer stretches from May to August like a blissful, magical open road. Nothing to do but a whole lot of nothing. If you're a parent or caregiver, though, your feelings about summer vacation are probably a little different. Namely, what am I going to do with these kids? Organizations and venues around Wichita already are planning camps, classes and other activities to fill those summer days. Regardless of your child's interests, you're bound to find something he or she will enjoy. Browse our annual Summer Nike Soccer Cleats For Mens Activity Guide to find hundreds of options for education and recreation, including activities that focus on the arts, books, nature and science. Many organizations charge for programs. However, you'll find some free options and several designed for adults and children to learn and play together. If you're a member of a local museum or venue, there are even more free options or discounts for you. But here's an important note: Some of these summer activities require advance registration, and many have limited class sizes and are booked up before summer begins. If you think your child would like to participate, call for a reservation as early as possible. If your local organization offers a summer program for kids that isn't listed here, go to the bottom of the guide and enter your information in the online guide.
